Ghanaian businessman and politician Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has sent out a message to his opponents contesting him for the chairmanship position in the Asanti Region.
According to Wontumi in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the “Delay Show”, the chairmanship position in the region belongs to him.
He maintains that reports that he is no longer adored are inaccurate, and that this will be reflected when the party’s regional leadership is elected in the coming days.
“It’s science and data. Are you sure they don’t want to even see me? Wontumi is loved in Ashanti. The election is in the hands of God and it belongs to only Wontumi. “No one can come to my house and take what belongs to me unless I’m tied,” he told Delay.
Wontumi went on to dismiss reports that he has grabbed all contracts in the Ashanti area, claiming that they are falsehoods and that the delays on some of the roads he is building are due to bank loans.
