Five arrested at Bono East over NDC office violence.

Five people have been detained by the police in relation to the July 28 attack on the Bono East NDC party headquarters in Techiman.

Kojo Agyei, also known as Kojo Cocaine, Illiasu Sulemana, also known as Oboot, Andrew Kemire, Fatau Abdallah, and Alhaji Nuhu were named as the five.

According to a statement from the police, “during the attacks, one victim got multiple knife wounds and is currently on admission at the Techiman Government Hospital.”

Additionally vandalized were the party office’s sliding windows and a car that was parked there.

Later today, the accused will all appear in court.

The police continued by saying, “We would want to take this occasion to urge people and groups to choose communication over violence to address their disputes.
