A Ghanaian angry man has taken a swipe at rapper Sarkodie for his silence on the current ongoing economic crisis in the country.
Sarkodie is one of the few Ghanaian artists that use music to try to spread a message about the country’s economic struggle.
The rapper, who is thought to be a fervent supporter of the in-power New Patriotic Party, has remained mute during the past few years regarding events in the nation, despite citizens’ expectations that he talks about them in a song as he typically does.
Following this, identified critics have called out the rapper for remaining silent on the nation’s problems and the NPP’s decision to turn to the IMF for financial assistance.
