IGP visits Nkoranza days after attack on the Divisional and District Police Headquarters

The Inspector General of Police, COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, has paid a visit to Nkoranza and parts of the Bono East Region following the attacks on the Divisional and District Police Headquarters.

Recall that it was reported that the youth of the Nkoranza had clashed with the police over the killing of one of them, Albert Donkor.

The violent clashes led to the death of one person, with six others injured.

A post by the Ghana Police Service on Facebook shows the IGP, in the company of other senior officers, at Nkoranza.

In the video, the team is seen interacting with some of the residents and leaders of the community.
