‘Friday Night’ hitmaker, Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel, also known as Lasmid, has opened up on the meaning of his stage name, which also happens to be his real name.
According to him, his parents gave him the name “Lasmid” even though they were unaware of its meaning.
His name, Lasmid, serves as a prime example of how individuals from his side like giving their wards names they themselves do not understand.
He continued to say that neither he nor anybody else he knows has the same name, nor does he know what it means.
Lasid made this known while speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show.
