An unidentified Ghanaian police officer has been arrested while transporting 86 parcels of marijuana to an unknown destination.
He was caught after leading police on a high-speed pursuit across the Kpeve Mountains in the Volta Region after refusing to halt at a checkpoint.
In a video that was posted online, the officer was seen being questioned by security authorities after his car somersaulted while attempting to flee.
He suffered an injury to his left hand and was spotted frantically pacing back and forth.
After the incident, a packet of narcotics was left on the floor, attracting the attention of other cars and passers-by.
