Pupils on Monday, staged a protest in Osun state to demand an end to the lingering strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) five months ago.
The primary school children thronged to the main gate of Obafemi Awolowo University campus in Ile-Ife to make known their demands.
ASUU has been on strike since February 14, 2022 due to a number of pending issues which include increase in funding for institutions.
The kids carried different placards with inscriptions that read; ”Don’t borrow our future away”, ”I am the future ASUU make no mistake about it”, ”I am the future ASUU Don’t forget”.
