Shatta Wale reacts to his conviction by the court over his fake death

Dancehall musician Shatta Wale, whose actual name is Charles Nii Armah, yesterday left the Accra Circuit Court in freedom after being ordered to pay GHC 2,000 or risk spending three months in jail.

The well-known singer filed a guilty plea to the publishing of false news on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

Shatta Wale was imprisoned a few months ago after being falsely accused of being involved in a weapons incident.

After the case was over, he issued a statement in which he thanked his lawyer, the court, and the supporters.

His full post reads “FREE AT LAST Being thankful and expressing gratitude is an important part of being happy in life. I wish to take this opportunity to say thank you to my Lawyer, Jerry, the Judge, Shatta Movement and the entire nation for the support through these trying times. #OnGod.”
