Ghanaian entertainment personality, Socrate Safo, has sent out a word of advice to gospel musicians in the country.
Speaking with Caleb Nii Boi Showbiz927 on 3FM, Socrate Safo advised that gospel musicians should do well to invest in their craft.
This came following complaints by some gospel musicians concerning how churches fail to support their craft.
According to him, it is the duty of the church to win souls, adding that they might choose to help with the finances of gospel musicians. However, it is not their duty to do so, hence people should desist from making such claims.
“I think the church is there to win souls for Christ. That is the only purpose! When God called his apostles, he commissioned them to go and preach and baptize those who will believe. “What else are they supposed to do?,” he said.
