Tamale-based musician, Mujahid Ahmed Bello, who is widely known as Fancy Gadam, has shared his grievance after the organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) refused to nominate him.
According to Facncy Gadem, he expected to be nominated for Artist of the Year, but that did not happen since he was neglected.
Speaking on HitzDayBreak on Hitz FM, he said: “I filed for the Artist of the Year nomination. I believe I deserve to be nominated. It shouldn’t be about Accra. In the north, we are also part of Ghana. There are songs that are big in Accra but not known in the North.”
