Evelyn Badu, 19 years of age, makes Ghana proud with her remarkable achievements by winning two awards at the CAF 2022 in Rabat, Morocco as the younger player of the year and interclub player of the year.
But before then, could you believe that the teenager dominated two rivals, Doris Boaduwaa from Ghana and Yasmine Zouhir of Morocco, to obtain the prize of the young player of the year?
In the year 2018, she joined the squad to play in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, but she did not play any matches. She was capped at senior level during the 2020 CAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament (third round).
The young Ghanaian footballer also plays as a midfielder for Norwegian club Avaldsnes IL.
Evelyn, before she joined the Avaldsnes IL, played for Hasaacas Ladies in Ghana, appearing at the 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League final tournament.
In addition, on her Instagram is a photo of her where she was presented with the golden boot by some officials.
