Global Citizen Festival, an international music event, will be held in Ghana to amplify the message that poverty must end everywhere.
The event is slated to take place at Accra’s famed Black Star Square on September 24, 2022.
International and local performers will perform at the event, including R&B king Usher Raymond, H.E.R., Stormzy, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, SZA, Gyakie, and many more.
The Black Star Square has a symbolic value that advances the cause of the struggle against poverty, according to the event’s organizers.
Through social media, the Global Citizen Festival urged people to join the battle against poverty.
The initiative also aims to address issues relating to girls’ gender, environmental protection, and global warming and the eradication of poverty for humanity.
