Second edition of Spotlight Creative Arts and Business Awards slated for July 22

The second edition of the Spotlight Creative Arts and Business Awards gala will take place on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Snap Cinemas in Accra.

People and corporate entities will be honored for their contributions to the expansion of the creative arts, which has been at the core of Ghana’s socio-economic development.

The award scheme’s founder, Mr. Damien Dadzie Richard, stated that it was essential to continue the process of recognizing excellence and promoting dynasties.

“After our fantastic debut, the vision has not changed. The quest for excellence and the building of this great dynasty continues this year. As we promised, the time has come for us to deliver yet again another astonishing and memorable night. On this night, we get to appreciate individuals and corporate entities that have shown a tremendous amount of zeal and excellence in the business and creative arts fraternity,” he said.

The programme will commence with a stunning red carpet show at 6 pm, while the main show will start at exactly 8 pm.

Adding a twist to this year’s edition of the red carpet would be packages for the best-dressed male and female from our sponsors.

Mr Moro Batun, Chief Executive Officer of Bamimo Enterprises will receive a special honorary award for a campaign against skin bleaching and also promoting local “Alata” soap.

Mr Vans Calebs, a well-known face in the entertainment industry would also be honoured for his contribution to the development of showbiz in Ghana.

Among dignitaries to grace this year’s awards are business mogul Paul Amaning, Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan, Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon; Michael Okyere Baafi, Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry.
