United States-based Cine-God Studios and Vascan Studios have collaborated on the crime-action film “The Agency.”
The movie’s international premiere will be place at the Silverbird Cinemas in Accra on October 1st, 2022.
According to Iddris Abu, the director of the comedy “The Agency” wants to tell our narrative and advance as a filmmaker in addition to making people laugh.
He explained that the film’s purpose is to dispel gender stereotypes in the Ghanaian film industry, where male performers normally play the main roles in action movies, at a press conference that was conducted on July 18, 2022 at the Conference Hall of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
The Agency movie demonstrates audaciously that Ghana has excellent female performers who, if given the necessary training and guidance by talented directors, can take on roles like this and even more challenging ones by casting women in lead roles on both sides of the action.
The movie “Agency” has served as an inspiration for other Ghanaian directors. He stated that the whole production of the film, from screenplay to post-production, took place in Ghana with a Ghanaian cast and crew and much less funding than is often needed for films of this level.

The top-secret missions were the purpose of the establishment of the government security organization depicted in “The Agency.”
But as it turns out, the corrupt leadership of a well-connected woman government appointee who uses the organization for illicit activities brings down the institution.
Among the actors who feature in “The Agency” are Oscar Provencal, John Dumelo, Prince David Osei, Beverly Afaglo, and Salma Mumin.
It was written and produced by Vascan Studios executive producer and writer Amin Ramart.
