Black Sheriff highlighted by Audiomack’s as #UpNow latest artist and cover star

Black Sherif, a budding singer from Ghana, has been selected as the newest #UpNow artist by artist-first music streaming service Audiomack.

By highlighting and supporting the upcoming generation of international music superstars, Audiomack’s emerging artist program #UpNow sheds attention on what’s coming up in culture.

Black Sherif will be highlighted across the platforms channels with specific marketing, editorial, social support, playlisting, custom videos, and more. She will also be featured on the cover of Audiomack’s acclaimed #UpNow playlist.

Black Sherif declared, “I’m thrilled to be an Audiomack #UpNow artist. Since high school, I’ve had Audiomack. I utilized it as my first platform to persuade my friends to listen to my music. It was simpler and presented a professional image. My main goal has been to communicate with and share music with my followers.

According to Jason Johnson, SVP of Marketing and Brand Strategy at Audiomack, “We’re excited to welcome Black Sherif as our next #UpNow artist.” “Since he uploaded his first video to the platform in 2020, we have been fans of him, and it has been incredible to watch him flourish over the past two years. We are eager to work with his team to promote his talent, build up his brand, and reach out to a wider range of fans with his songs.

The lean but formidable discography of Sherif, who recently passed the platform’s 100 million global streams milestone, encapsulates his hustler’s tale. His first upload was in August 2020, but he gained popularity with “First Sermon” in 2021 and later that year gave us “Second Sermon.” Sherif’s fame increased in December 2021 after Burna Boy joined the “Second Sermon” remix.

Sherif published “Kwaku The Traveller,” his most reflective song to date, in March 2022. With over 35 million streams, “Kwaku The Traveller” is the most streamed song on Audiomack thus far in 2022 and Black Sherif’s biggest hit to date thanks to its sharp and moving storytelling. DJ Khaled, who praised the Ghanian artist’s most recent hit as a “huge chune,” gave him significant recognition as well.
